About Us

Our green architectural design process begins with careful consideration of earth, culture and community. Over the course of 30 years working with clients locally and across the globe, we have refined an approach to collaborative design built on the values of inspiration, discovery, and ecological responsibility. Through our work, our team of Boulder, Colorado architects and international partners strive to foster positive human relationships and a closer connection with nature. We embrace architecture as a celebration of identity and purpose that moves beyond function to uplift the human spirit. Each design we create is shaped by how people will live, work and play in a space, and is also a creatively crafted response to the surrounding land, culture, climate and natural light. When these elements find harmony in a single structure, a sense of wonder and life as an artful experience emerges. Based in Boulder, Colorado, we offer green architectural design from private residences to eco lodges and community projects. Our current projects include a local, sustainable organic farm, a passive solar straw bale getaway in the mountains of Southern Colorado, and a community center for climate change in Nicaragua.
