The project included demolition of a closet that divided the condo’s large hall into two awkward spaces. Our new laundry is still under construction but we can already see it makes better use of the space. Mike Killeen and his team not only turned the drawings around fast, but also gave us advice, ideas and the names of trusted contractors. The whole experience was very professional, the drawings were exactly what we needed and the price was reasonable. The architect and also the GC, Woody was so immersed, dedicated to our project- he guided us when decisions had to be made with excellent communications skills and also humor! It was exciting to see it all happen- and it was on time! We were living in the basement during the renovation and one night, it was storming, pouring rain- and this was before we had the roof completed, and he shows up in the middle of the night just to check on things to make sure water wasn't coming in! He was also very good at keeping us in-check with our budget. We are very happy with our new home!!”

“My wife and I hired Jeannette Architects to assist us with a major remodel (interior/exterior) of our 3,500 sq. ft. ranch style home in Newport Beach. The task: incorporate warm contemporary design into our 1970's "woody cabin." As a real estate developer and because it's our third major house remodel there were many design elements we knew we wanted but many more that we needed help with. As capable as Jeff (Jeannette) is with his design sense, we believe that it's his ability to listen to his clients, understand client goals, how we will live in the space and how that fits into our budget is what sets Jeff apart from other architects. The Jeannette team met aggressive time constraints, produced a thorough set of construction documents, were always quick to provide clarification and answers to our questions and were great resources for product and material options and information. True professionals that we would use again and confidently refer to others. Our project is nearing completion and I can't wait to share photos.”

“My HOA hired Klopf Architecture to design new fences, front gates, lighting and paint color plans for our condominiums. They were designed in 1963 by Quincy and Jones and built in 1964 by Eichler Homes. Replacements in the 1990s did not serve the mid-century aesthetic well -- but owners did not want to return to the light-inhibiting original thin-line panel fences and gates. The Klopf team produced three outstanding options. The one we selected includes brilliant design features like frosted glass doors with 1/4-in spaces between fence boards to allow light in along with clear glass doors for the pool area with 1/2-in spaces between boards surrounding it. The overall design and color plan is clean and elegant. John Klopf and his team could not have been more friendly and flexible throughout. We look forward to implementing this design over the next few years.”

“The staff at Ohashi Design Studio helped me design my kitchen/living space. I wanted to open up our galley kitchen to be able to see our incredible view from the kitchen. They came up with a design I never imagined could work so well. Rather than just remove a wall, they moved the kitchen, changed it to a more functional shape and not only opened up the view, but made the living space feel like we were outside. I have been especially impressed with their level of service. They listened to my dreams and goals and turned it into a reality beyond what I'd hoped for. They were available anytime I needed guidance during construction and made sure the project was built down to the finest details. They helped me find a contractor and oversaw the bidding process. They helped pick out all the materials and finishes, even the paint color. I can't say enough about their level of expertise and professionalism. I worked with Dave and Alan.”

“Xiomara and team completed the design for our project - a 3 story addition to our 1920's home. We are in the process of adding a finished basement/media room, first floor mud room/powder room/family room, second floor master suite, and third floor bedroom/bath. We chose to work with Xiomara because of her focus on seemlessly incorporating the new with the old - you cannot tell we have even done an addition. Our project was complex and required reworking the entire clay tile roof line. Our house now functions beautifully. Xiomara had many great ideas and she took our rough concept of what we needed and has transformed our home. I would highly recommend Xiomara and her team.”
