Sabrina Alfin Interiors
This artist's haven in Portola Valley, CA is in a woodsy, rural setting. The goal was to make this home lighter and more inviting using new lighting, new flooring, and new furniture, while maintaining the integrity of the original house design. Not quite Craftsman, not quite mid-century modern, this home built in 1955 has a rustic feel. We wanted to uplevel the sophistication, and bring in lots of color, pattern, and texture the artist client would love.

The wood burning fireplace was replaced by a fuel efficient wood burning insert and the chimney was repaired at the time of install. The barn siding paneling is original to the home.

A cosy living room and eclectic bar area seamlessly merged, through the use of a simple yet effective colour palette and furniture placement.
The bar was a bespoke design and placed in such away that the architectural features, which were dividing the room, would be incorporated and therefore no longer be predominant.
The period beams, on the walls, were further enhanced by setting them against a contemporary colour, and wallpaper, with the wood element carried through to the new floor and bar.
Couture Concepts Interiors
Work designed and completed while working for another employer. The communal lounge and dining areas were designed to be a plush and inviting space, perfect for relaxing with loved ones. The color palette was inspired by the stunning Keswick hills, bringing the beauty of nature indoors.
At Home by Design
The scheme of this room was designed around the fantastic Matthew Williamson Fanfare wallpaper, which reflects the light. The fan is brought into play in the travel artefacts that adorn the room. The bright, jewel colours make it warm and inviting in the evening, providing a cosy place to share a bottle of wine in front of the fire.

This living rooms A-frame wood paneled ceiling allows lots of natural light to shine through onto its Farrow & Ball dark shiplap walls. The space boasts a large geometric rug made of natural fibers from Meadow Blu, a dark grey heather sofa from RH, a custom green Nickey Kehoe couch, a McGee and Co. gold chandelier, and a hand made reclaimed wood coffee table.
Studio WherDeco
