Houzz Call: Show Us Your Holiday Front Door
Lights, wreaths, action! If your front door plays a role in your yuletide decorations, we'd like to see it
It's time to deck not only the halls, but also the front door. Personally, I'm lucky if I find the time to rustle up a Christmas wreath, but I love to walk around my neighborhood admiring my more ambitious neighbors' holiday decor.
Do you go all Clark Griswold and color the entire house with lights? Do you make your own wreaths and garlands? Do you have a favorite fat Santa or friendly reindeer who greets your holiday guests? Is your neighborhood association persnickety about whether or not you can use colored lights?
Please tell us about it and share your photos in the Comments section. Your photo may be chosen for a future featured ideabook.

A bright red door means you're halfway there without any decorations. This one uses a star in lieu of a wreath, while a long swag and lighted potted trees frame the door.
If you have a front porch, do you spread the greenery along it as well?
This traditional entry has holiday curb appeal around the front door.
