Hi all,
Just wanted to share a tip I've been using for many years. When decorating outdoors for the holidays, wrap the lights on the trunk/main branches of the tree or shrub you are decorating. The light flows through the leaves and branches and functions like a projector of shapes and shadows. The light also bounces within the shrub making it look like a light ball. This technic would require just a few light ropes and since those are not visible, you can keep them there all year around.
