Christi Young was an hour late to her job interview at HONOLULU Magazine. One-way roads in Downtown Honolulu still stymie the Central O‘ahu kid. Still, the high-heel addict got the job writing the daily fashion blog, then HONOLULU’s marketing manager, HONOLULU Family editor and editorial director of all of HONOLULU’s brands. She has since moved on to another opportunity in her career. A proud graduate of Mililani High School, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and Northwestern University, Christi spent her first 10 years in journalism producing TV newscasts in West Virginia and KGMB in Honolulu, then as executive producer of Hawai‘i News Now.
