Nine Favorite Things – Book Tour Edition! I am so excited to finally share the Quick & Cozy BOOK TOUR with you all! This tour has been a massive undertaking, and I want to take a second to give my mom the credit that she deserves here. She’s been working with our teams to pull together this tour day in and day out for the last two months. She’s really taken the time to make sure each city has been planned for success. And now we cannot wait to share the tour dates! All the details are below. Check them out and get your tickets now!
The book has become such a huge focus, especially as we inch closer to the launch – it’s a month away! My feelings are pretty up and down and all over the place. I’m, of course, so excited and can’t wait to share these new recipes with you all. But it’s scary, and honestly, I have a lot of anxious nerves surrounding the launch. I think that’s why I’ve been dragging my feet toward sharing the book tour details; it’s all a little scary and nerve-racking! I know it seems silly, but I want to provide you all with a book that you love, and events you’ll have a wonderful time attending!Â
Ultimately, I know it’s going to be amazing! The holidays are already such an exciting, busy time, so coupling them with the book tour is so fun! I love all the excitement and the hustle! I definitely thrive most when things are busier. Just like my younger brother, Red, I have too much energy!Â
OK, so that’s all the book stuff. Let’s back up quickly to this past week because, wow, it’s been exciting! I was honored to attend the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show with Amazon Luxury. It was such a dream. I grew up watching that show, so having the opportunity to watch Gigi, Bella, Kate Moss, Tyra, and so many more amazing women walk was a pinch-me moment. I never take these opportunities for granted; they are so special!Â
I’m flying home today from Palm Springs, where I spoke at the INC 5000 conference! It’s been a long week of travel, and I’m looking forward to a week at home before heading off again!Â
Enjoy this week’s favorites – we’ve got some fun links and photos to share!
Halloween fun…giant-sized skelly. I saw these in everyone’s yards in Utah while visiting Shae McGee. They are massive and so cool!Â
everything in my cart (low)â¦so I’m loving J.Crew for cozy pieces right now. They really have some of the cutest pieces! Loving their quilted rugged canvas jacket. Also, they’re currently having a big sale if you want to check that out!
And here’s everything I’m loving from Zara this week. This is such a cute knit cape cardigan. It would be cute styled with dark washed jeans, these knee-high boots, and this croc box bag.
listening toâ¦
.dreaming of going to…the Hôtel Royal – Evian Resort in France. I bet this is so pretty around Christmas time!Â
readingâ¦How to Build a Fashion Icon: Notes on Confidence from the Worldâs Only Image Architect by Law Roach. I’ve always loved the way Law styles and can’t wait to learn more about his process through this book. I’ve heard it is really great!Â
shoppingâ¦the Reformation Cashmere Boyfriend Sweater. I could get this in every color, and some of the striped styles are cute too!Â
And from Guest in Residence…I love their chai color. My mom has this cashmere Oversized Crew and Tailored Trouser in her cart in chai. I got her the black and gray Oversized Crew before they went to Europe. She said she lived in these two sweaters and lounged in these joggers. They’re a really nice quality cashmere.
also for mom…these new Sorel Tivoli V Tall Boot I know she would live in these this winter. And then have to get her the new cozy UGG Tasman Alpine embroidered shearling slippers. And then I found this Cleveland Browns LuxeLoft V-Neck Sweater. She is going to love it. Â
everything in my cart (beauty)â¦everyone is talking about Jan Marini right now and I really want to try their transformation face cream. Has anyone ordered any products?Â
Speaking of moisturizer, the RéVive Anti Aging Hand Cream is great for the winter, especially while traveling.Â
And something kind of fun: I sat next to Patrick Ta at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show and asked what product to order first. He said his Major Headlines Double-Take Crème & Powder Blush Duo because it is like two products in one. Â
fall travel funâ¦
.everything in my cart (high)â¦Love this half suede coat, espesso from Source Unknown. Also, cute the Nili Lotan Kedem Suede Contrast-Collar Parka. Well, wait, there’s this Harrison Corduroy Collar Denim Jacket from Reformation too.Â
I am still so obsessed with the Bottega Veneta andiamo medium intrecciato suede tote.
And Coach! There are so many great Coach pieces this season. I love these Rowyn slingback pumps.
shoppingâ¦
. Time to get cozy for fall and winter.Â

Can I ask why not all questions get answered? Even the ones that aren’t snark or mean?
Hi! Heading to NYC this fall and looking for a great boutique hotel, restaurants, bars, and other cool places like you’ve shared in your newsletter. Suggestions?? Huge thanks!
Hi there,
You bet!! You can find all my faves here:
https://www.halfbakedharvest.com/lifestyle/travel/
I hope this helps! Have the best time on your trip! xT
Have you ever done media training or any sort of public speaking course?
Hey Tieghan,
I was most excited to read more details about your upcoming cookbook tour. Unfortunately, the west coast missed out on seeing you entirely. I was so hoping Arizona would be on tour but no such luck again. Texas gets to see you three times I am jealous. ð It would have been so much fun to meet you in person and come to the signing. Definitely brag about you and your recipes. How do you usually decide which cities to come to?? Have you been to Arizona before did you enjoy it?? Since you’re not coming here how do I order a signed book?? Is there a link to order them?? All I saw were the names of bookstores. Do I have to search for your cookbook? I know with your last cookbook I tried to find a signed copy and had no luck. Any details would be great thank you!! I am loving all your pumpkin recipes please keep them coming. Do you have any seafood recipes you’ve created using pumpkin?? A curry sounds delicious or even a Pumpkin Bisque. What’s your favorite dessert that uses pumpkin outside of pie?? Loving those Twix bars that looks like a must make. Those are one of my favorite candy bars. Will you be home for Halloween do you get many trick or treaters?? Keep up all the great recipes and content I love it all!!!!
Hi Mike,
Thanks for reading today and your questions! I really wish I could visit everywhere, unfortunately it’s just totally impossible. We try to be smart about the tour stops and stay within budget when choosing locations. Hopefully I can visit Arizona soon:)
You can order a signed cookbook here:
https://www.halfbakedharvest.com/book-tour/
Just click on the retailer you would like to order from!
I never thought about adding pumpkin to a seafood dish, love this idea!
I am loving these pumpkin sugar cookies:
https://www.halfbakedharvest.com/frosted-soft-pumpkin-sugar-cookies/
these bars are super yummy:

and this is great for a weekend breakfast/brunch:

We do not get trick or treaters where we live, they usually do a fun event for the kids in town:) Have a great week! XxT
My favorite brands also try to do some good in the world in a way that is related to the business they are in. Wouldn’t it be interesting to think about how you could give back (I mean beyond indulging your fantasies and those of your readers)? Or maybe you have gone way beyond that already and don’t need to brag about it – if that is the case please do tell at least just a little bit!
Got my tickets for Dallas! I canât wait to meet you! â¤ï¸
Yay!! Thanks so much, Jennifer!! See you there:) xT
Hi ! You had mentioned in a recent blog post you were coming to Miami area. And I do not see any dates for South Florida?
Hi Yvette,
Unfortunately, we just weren’t able to make that happen this time around, but hopefully soon! So sorry! Have a wonderful week! XxT
Are you planning on moving out of Colorado? Delays in renovation updates and lack of a book signing stop make me feel like youâre Colorado days are behind you! Is somewhere like LA or NYC more conducive to your shift to lifestyle influencing as opposed to food blogging?
Hi Tina,
Hi! Iâm definitely not moving to LA or NYC. And for the foreseeable future I am staying put in Colorado!
Recipes will always remain my main focus, but I like to share lifestyle content as well and I plan to work some of that into content when I have opportunities! Thanks! Have a great week!
Hi Tieghan! Iâm a daily reader and have all of your books! Iâd love to come to your Chicago event but my question isâ¦I know that the entry fee includes the book that you pick up there but what about those of us who want to preorder the book? Can we show proof of preorder in order to gain entry? Would love to know! Thanks!
Hi Susan,
Thanks so much for reading and your kind message! Unfortunately, the ticket includes the book regardless of whether or not you preordered. If you want to cancel your preorder that would be fine, or you can gift it to someone:) Please let me know if you have any other questions! xT
I love seeing all the photos you post, but it would be great if you would add captions so we know what we’re looking at.
Hi Hilary,
Thanks so much for sharing this feedback! Thanks for reading today:) Happy Sunday! xT
Hi! Absolutely excited for your new book as I have your other ones as well and love them! I was looking at your tour dates and was bummed to not see one in Denver. Are you going to be doing one in Denver? Thank you!!
Brittany
Hi Brittany,
Thank you so very much!! We will most likely be adding Denver! Time is just limited ahead of the holidays and I can only be so many places. I really hope to get Denver, and other cities added. Especially if there is a want!! I wish I had the bandwidth to get to every city! Hope you are having a great week! xT
No love for the west coast on the book tour? ð
Hi Sammi,
Stay tuned…hopefully in the early new year! Have a great week! xT
You are absolutely lovely in this weekâs photo. â¤ï¸
Thank you so much, Christine:) Have a nice week! xT
