Eater NY hears from Julian Brizzi, a partner at East Williamsburg’s “Ligurian-inspired” restaurant Fitzcarraldo, who says the nearly two-month-old restaurant will remain open despite the fact that surrounding complex 3rd Ward is now permanently closed. Brizzi says they’ll temporarily discontinue daytime service to regroup and “really push to keep Fitzcarraldo as great a restaurant as we believe it is and will continue to be.” The arts-based community center sent members an e-mail stating that today is the final day doors will be open for members to come in and pick up their stuff.
