For New York’s first collaboration with the Canal Street–based apparel line Knickerbocker, the theme was souvenir shops. This time around, the collection is a tribute to our many corner stores and bodegas and all they carry. The hand-painted artwork, seen on shirts, jackets, hats, and a tote, features some corner-store staples — candy and ice cream, soda, arcade games, and magazines (ours, specifically) — paired with the New York logo and Knickerbocker’s Canal Street address.
The collection is available exclusively on Knickerbocker’s website and at its flagship store at 357 Canal Street. Check out the whole Corner Store collection here, or see each item from the collection below.
This 100 percent cotton heavyweight pocket tee is available in black, white, and blue.
The same design as the tee above, but on a 100 percent cotton-fleece crewneck sweatshirt.
Knickerbocker’s new rayon and cotton button-up shirt dotted with the motifs and signage in the Corner Store collection. Also available in white with black artwork.
Another new Knickerbocker piece: the water-repellant PrimaLoft jacket, made of a nylon shell with a polyester lining and wool cuffs and ribbing. It features the Corner Store signage on the left chest patch and the New York logo and Knickerbocker address, in large print, across the back.
And, finally, Knickerbocker’s classic Paper Boy Bag. Made from 100 percent cotton and big enough to hold a laptop.
