Biglerville head coach Nolan Peterson was pleased with how his team played despite the Canners’ losses to both York Catholic and Bermudian Springs earlier in the week.
The Delone Catholic Squires had lost just two games this season. One was to much larger Red Land, and the other a 13-point loss to YAIAA-3 rival York Catholic back in December.
After coach Gerry Eckenrode won his 600th career game earlier in the week, the Delone Catholic girls’ basketball squad was hoping to cap things off with a victory against rival York Catholic Friday night.
