Stay informed, get involved and make a difference
FHCA’s Lobby Wednesdays give members an important opportunity to share with legislators and key decision makers how their legislation affects your facilities and how you provide quality care to your residents.
Each week before and during the legislative session, FHCA members travel to Tallahassee to advocate on behalf of the profession. Lobby Wednesdays start with an informative briefing by FHCA's legislative team, followed by your meetings with legislators and staff and other activities at the Capitol. The day wraps up with a quick debriefing with FHCA to recap your meetings and discuss any follow up activities that need to be coordinated. A typical Lobby Wednesday ends between 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST.
