      LEO and DAN.

      LEO Sorry just a minute sorry

      DAN Am I doing something / wrong?

      LEO No it’s good it’s

      Maybe the voice

      DAN The voice?

      LEO Not quite the same.

      DAN I’m sweating

      Going to get / some water.

      LEO It’s a little more gentle, really

      If you watch the YouTube clips, the voice is more gentle

      DAN I was being gentle.

      LEO Okay okay yes sure.

      But,

      No. Not really.

      You were going for more of a ‘husky’ thing

      DAN I don’t think so

      LEO A little too husky

      And I know that’s part of it

      DAN That’s not really…

      LEO When you’re in the moment

      and you’re inside me

      and saying my name

      and it’s heavy breathing

      it’s husky it’s

      DAN Hard to breathe in the costume

      LEO But if you listen to the clip it’s much more gentle And I understand why you’d think that

      because,

      You know,

      There’s a prejudice…

      no not prejudice,

      a sort of…

      stereotype.

      Yes.

      Isn’t there.

      DAN Is there?

      LEO That’s husky – not husky not… just all

      ‘GRAHHHH’ and like

      aggressive

      and

      violent

      and

      DAN I’m not being violent.

      LEO No no,

      No.

      Of course you’re not

      But to some extent you’ve got this predetermined idea that they’re violent

      and that’s not your fault. Its the media, really,

      But it’s about recognising that it’s only

      a stereotype

      And most aliens

      Once you get past that

      Are actually quite gentle and peaceful

      And I think if you rewatch the YouTube clip you’ll get that

      Because I want to believe you.

      Like fuck me, you know.

      Like you’ve abducted me and you’re fucking me in your spaceship

      And that’s hot.

      And I’m there, I’m almost there

      And I think if the voice was a little more gentle

      It’d be like fireworks

      Don’t you think?
