The fast detection and high-reading—quality of the scanner has its price. Also the scanner is subject to wear, which may cause malfunctions during operations. The E-book is dedicated to the scanner and shows:

The E-book did not engage the connection with the scanner to a network or system parameterization. Creating connections can be questioned by the manufacturer. You will need for the implementation of the following points, inter alia:
a hand scanner Cognex DM8500with serial interface
a Cognex interconnect cablewith RS-232 port or a USB portwitha 6V power supply
Connection and the pre-installed software DATAMAN Setup tool a PC with RS 232 or USB.
Torx key set in the form of screwdrivers
Ethernet handheld scanners needs the Ethernet cable and a POE Adapter for a connection with the computer.
