In recent times, this wisdom has re-surfaced in our contemporary culture, in the form of the teachings of G.I. Gurdjieff and Peter D. Ouspensky.
Gurdjieff explains to us in his magnum opus, that, this wisdom was the mainspring of several very ancient and advanced lost civilizations on our world - civilizations which have disappeared in the mists of time. These lost civilizations are only now coming to light through the insight and efforts of individual researchers such as Sam Osmanagich PhD, Carmen Boulter PhD, and John Anthony West - an independent Egyptologist. Gurdjieff explains to us in his writings that one of these lost civilizations existed in Egypt, prior to the epoch of the Pharaohs - dynastic Egypt. Satellite archaeology is now verifying this fact, it is estimated that only one percent of temples, statuary, buildings and tombs are uncovered in Egypt to date ... the rest still lie buried beneath the sands of Egypt, awaiting discovery and excavation.
Much of the wisdom in this book hails from the the esoteric ideas passed on to us by Gurdjieff and his prime student - P.D Ouspensky.
However, many of the written materials available to us today, belong to the last century, and it is the writers intended task, to render these highly valuable materials accessible to current readers of this century, in a lucid, candid and exciting format. To this end, this current volume has been compiled, and a further eight volumes on esotericism and Gurdjieff are currently in the process of being released to the public. This will begin with volume one being released later this year, and the remainder over the coming three years.
The writer has condensed all of the available important and key works on this subject, into eight exciting and highly readable manuals - explaining difficult and arcane wisdom in a masterful fashion.
