But twenty-eight year old Johanna Van Gogh-Bonger, Vincent’s sister-in-law and the keeper of his immense collection of paintings, sketches and letters, has, until now, been written out of history. This beautiful, moving novel finally gives this extraordinary woman a voice…

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A clever and original story that explored an important yet unknown woman and her remarkable story. A pioneer in equality for women who overcame many challenges in her young life, yet who’s determination is solely responsible for gifting the world with the talent and genius of Vincent Van Gogh’s art. In making it her life’s work to insure that his legacy did not end with his untimely death, the man and the artist were able to be better understood and appreciated more than he was during his own life.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5This book was very dull. Some parts of it was based on facts, however, most of it was based off of the authors creatively which I believe she could had add more color and excitement to the story.
