    Readers find this title to be a unique take on vampires and witches. The story is fast-paced and exciting, with a great concept.       The audiobook leaves out parts of the book itself. It doesn’t take away from the plot but it does leave holes with character development.

      I thought it was a good story it had twists and turns we weren't tortured with a neverending mc monologue like some stories. I was able to get through in a day all and all I would recommend. It's not an epic romance so far but still good.

      Poor writing style. It’s also about a MINOR and a grown man. Writing style is bad, the characters are all lacking any substance, zero world building. I love some dark smut but this was…. Rough to say the absolute least.

      There’s really no plot. There’s a lot of blurry consent, a lot of violence, and not a lot of magic. The premise is something that could’ve been fleshed out more.

      It’s an interesting premise. Would love to have explored the books magical system a little more but the execution doesn’t really pull through. It does seem like the FMC is 16. That makes the rest of the book gross. The fact that so many people think that is a testament to how badly the book could use a good editing.

      Only on chapter 1.
      Wanted to make a review because I listen to the audio while reading along. I didn't think anything of it in the prologue because it was only one paragraph I got skipped. But the first line of the first chapter skipped so much that I left me confused. I might or might not continue listening to this audio
      Oh update my review later.

      Not even 30 seconds later in the audio there's a skip line and two lines in the book was completely changed compared to the audio.

      I gave it anther try and got to chapter 26 before I realized that the voice actress and actor are reading a different edit of the book.

      I will not continue listening while reading along.

      DNF the writing really isn't good, it's all over the place and the fact that she's a minor and a VERY adult man came in her room and stripped her unconscious body? Immediately no. The smut is over done and not well written. The story has no purpose just background for the smut.

      No decent plot, relies heavily on the darker “romance scenes”. Contains some elements which definitely are on the edge of consensual sex.

      Great concept, bad execution. Too rapey and too made-the-love-interest-slash-main-character-a-minor-for-no-reason for my taste.
