IT IS time to discuss a task that occupies the exhibition breeder over several months of each year. There is an old adage which says you should never sell a bird that's less than six months old. However, to the experienced eye, a nest-feather bird displaying characteristics that will not help the stud to progress can be passed on without further thought.
