The Ted Lasso actress stars as an unknown new character along Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames in the upcoming action-packed movie.

While she has kept tight-lipped about her role during the Golden Globes pre-show in January, Hannah recalled her time shooting on a fighter carrier.

'He's lovely and fabulous to work for and that's it,' she said about working with Tom, reported Variety.

'We arrived on an Osprey on the moving (USS George H.W. Bush fighter carrier) with 4,500 serving men and woman in the hull. It was insane! It's a proper, ridiculous pinch me job. Him and (director) Christopher McQuarrie are total dreamboats.'

Tom, who was missing from the wrap party, revealed the film's title for the first time on Instagram on Monday, sharing a snap of the film's poster with caption: 'Every choice has led to this.'

Mission: Impossible 8 is now called Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, hinting that this could be the last movie in the franchise.

Reprising his role as the titular hero Ethan Hunt, Tom is set to take on his biggest mission yet, after a tense cliffhanger saw the spy determined to track down cyber weapon The Entity.

In the new trailer, fans get a glimpse back through some of the film franchise's most iconic moments, as Ethan pleads with his team to 'trust him one last time.'

She stars on the series — which has former Saturday Night Live star Jason Sudeikis as the title character — as Rebecca Welton, who gains control of an English Premier League soccer team as the result of a divorce.

She hires Lasso, whose only experience is coaching American college football, in hopes that the team will fail and she can enact revenge on her ex-husband, though Ted probes to be more resourceful than she expected.

In 2021, Waddingham won an Emmy for the role.
