MAFS 'villain' Shannon Adams mocks the Logies after being snubbed by producers of the star-studded event
Married At First Sight groom Shannon Adams has issued a tongue-in-cheek 'apology' to fans for not attending the TV Week Logie Awards ceremony on Sunday.
The reality TV bad boy, 31, shared a video to Instagram on Tuesday capturing him in his living room rewatching his series of MAFS.
Shannon is seen watching a scene where relationship expert John Aiken reprimanded him over his 'cruel treatment' towards his TV wife Caitlin McConville.
'Shan Shan for a Logie,' Adams is heard screaming at the television.
He captioned the video with some cheeky words.
'Sorry I couldn't make it. I was too busy being a c**t,' he wrote next to the footage, and added a laughing emoji.
Adams was one of many Married At First Sight stars snubbed by Logies producers.
Janelle Han, Claire Nomarhas, Sandy Jawanda, Lyndall Grace, Bronte Schofield, Cameron Woods, Harrison Boon, Jesse Burford, Alyssa Barmonde and Josh White also didn't make the cut, at least initially.
However Janelle, Claire and Sandy all ultimately made appearances at the event, along with Evelyn Ellis, Duncan James, Tahnee Cook, Ollie Skelton and Rupert Bugden.
Shannon's time on MAFS was filled with controversy, due to his heated relationship with Caitlin, 27.
Back in February, viewers were shocked after Caitlin was left heartbroken after an Intimacy Task went horribly wrong.

The bombshell episode saw Shannon cruelly tell her that she 'isn't good looking in his eyes'.
'I thought you were going to come down that aisle and completely blow me away.'
He then said if Caitlin had wooed him over then he would have just cut things off with his ex in the first place.

In the moment, Caitlin was too 'gobsmacked' to react, but after processing the situation she broke down in tears and said she felt sick.
Their relationship came to a head when Shannon dramatically walked out on her in the middle of a commitment ceremony, saying he couldn't remain on the show any longer.
He has since been spotted working as an Uber food delivery driver.
Meanwhile, the thrilling Logies ceremony saw Big Brother host Sonia Kruger, 57, winning the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television.
