New photos from the set of upcoming crime drama Last King of the Cross based on John Ibrahim show classic Sydney strip clubs and adult stores
Production on the upcoming Aussie crime drama Last King of the Cross has been underway for months.
New photos from the Sydney set show a red light district come to life, with strip clubs and adult stores.
A restaurant and coffee lounge called the Cosmopolitan is also pictured, but the most iconic set piece is arguably the legendary Porky's strip club.

The club was previously featured in the TV series Underbelly: The Golden Mile.
It officially closed its doors for good in 2018, after 30 years.
Last King of the Cross has a budget of $50million and will be streamed exclusively worldwide on Paramount+.
The 10-part series will tell the story of brothers John and Sam Ibrahim, who were prominent figures in the Kings Cross nightclub district.
The set has been built in a car park outside of Sydney

The series may also explore key events in John's life, including surviving a near fatal stabbing and other attempts on his life.
British actor Tim Roth, who scored an Oscar nomination for the film Rob Roy in 1995, plays fictional crime boss Ezra Shipman on the show.
He replaced Deadwood star Ian McShane, who was originally cast in the role but had to leave the production due to health reasons.

The cast also includes Damian Walshe-Howling (Underbelly), Tess Haubrich (Alien: Covenant) and Matt Nable (Arrow).
Award-winning writer-director Kieran Darcy-Smith will helm the crime-drama.
Sources close to the production say that John - who was 'very particular' about the actor playing him - was impressed with Lincoln's acting ability and his similarly dark complexion and light eyes.

It is understood that the show may explore key events in John Ibrahim's life, including surviving a near fatal stabbing and other attempts on his life.
The Lebanese-born entrepreneur migrated from Tripoli to Australia with his family as a young child before securing his first nightclub at age 19.
He has been dating model Sarah Budge, whom he met after buying the Potts Point building where she operated a restaurant, since 2015.

In June, sources confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that the couple recently got engaged.
Former model Sarah flashed her huge diamond engagement ring while taking the couple's son Elvis for a walk around Double Bay on June 2.
The impressive sparkler, which features a giant oval centre stone surrounded by round diamonds, was designed by House of K'dor and appears to be around 8-carats.
