Scotty Pippen Jr is set to sign a multiyear NBA deal with the Memphis Grizzlies, according to reports.
The 23-year-old, who was undrafted out of Vanderbilt, is the son of Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen and his ex-wife Larsa.
According to ESPN, however, the 6ft 1ins guard is set to be rewarded for impressive performances from the back end of last season through the NBA Summer League and preseason.
It's claimed the Grizzlies are set to sign the two-way guard on a standard multiyear NBA contract. He has appeared in 27 regular season games for Memphis and the Los Angeles Lakers.
But Pippen Jr still has a way to go to emulate his father Scottie, who was a six-time NBA champion with the Bulls.

The 59-year-old spent more than a decade in Chicago, where he played alongside Michael Jordan on the iconic Bulls team of the 1990s.
Pippen Sr went on to join the Houston Rockets and Portland Trail Blazers before leaving the NBA to play in Finland and Sweden.
The former small forward was Jordan's right hand man in Chicago but their relationship became strained following the release of the series 'The Last Dance'.
His ex-wife Larsa, meanwhile, formerly dated MJ's son, Marcus Jordan. The couple began dating back in late 2022.
But they later split with the 'Real Housewives of Miami' star insisting earlier this year: 'I am single, ready to mingle'
