Service provider Kyndryl has made key leadership appointment for Australia and New Zealand, naming Kimberley Marlay as its head of strategic partnerships and alliances for the region.

Based in Sydney, Marlay takes charge of expanding Kyndryl's channel ecosystem and enhancing relationships with major cloud partners Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud.

The appointment aims to meet rising customer demand for hybrid and multi-cloud solutions across the region.

Marlay brings significant experience to the role, having previously served as head of marketing for Kyndryl Australia and New Zealand.

An IBM veteran, her earlier work proved crucial in establishing the Kyndryl brand locally after its split from Big Blue in late 2021.

The new role focuses on strengthening partnerships across Kyndryl's six technology practice areas.

"Kimberley not only has a deep understanding of where our customers are on their technology transformation roadmaps, but also has built strong relationships with many of our ecosystem partners", Ashish Kumar, president of Kyndryl Australia and New Zealand said.

Her appointment signals the company's commitment to channel growth in the region.
