Data streaming software vendor Confluent has signed its first distribution agreement in Australia with NEXTGEN Group.
The deal provides over 30 of NEXTGEN's Australian partners access to Confluent’s product and services offerings.
The agreement will also see the partnership expand to New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia.
“This agreement sees Confluent rapidly expand its local channel partner ecosystem, a step that opens new opportunities for partners and new service offerings for their customers," said Kamal Brar, APAC senior VP at Confluent.
"Through our agreement with NEXTGEN, we are excited to bring the capabilities of our data streaming platform to help more businesses unleash developer productivity, operate efficiently at scale, and enable more real-time applications. NEXTGEN brings a wealth of expertise and an exceptional partner base — we look forward to working with them to accelerate Confluent’s growth in Australia and beyond.”
Confluent's solutions include the Apache Kafka cloud-based data streaming platform, which the company said allows organisations to stream, connect, process and govern data from across their entire business.
“Our partnership with Confluent builds on our focus, capability and expertise in enterprise software," said John Walters, group CEO at NEXTGEN Group.
"Confluent is a pioneer in data streaming technology and we’re proud to introduce more customers to its industry-leading solutions and enhance its offering through our unique collaborative service model.”
