In 1963, the original Clyde’s opened in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The brand has since expanded to include 14 properties in Northern Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia: Clyde’s of Georgetown, Clyde’s of Chevy Chase, Clyde’s at Mark Center, Clyde's Tower Oaks Lodge, Clyde’s of Gallery Place, Clyde’s Willow Creek Farm, Old Ebbitt Grill, The Hamilton, The Hamilton Live, The Tombs, 1789 Restaurant, Fitzgerald’s, Rye Street Tavern, and the newly opened Cordelia Fishbar in D.C.'s Union Market.
CRG has several restaurant locations under development, including Ebbitt House in Reston, Virginia, slated for a late 2025 opening.
While each property is distinctively different from the next, all of CRG's restaurants share the same reputation for exemplary customer service, an unforgettable atmosphere, and thoughtfully crafted menus that balance tradition with brush strokes of innovation.
