Mr. and Mrs. Jon YonKondy, of West Pittston, are delighted to announce the marriage of their daughter, Jillian YonKondy, to Drew Love, son of Andrew Love, of Hanover, and Nancy Senchak, of White Haven.
Jillian is the granddaughter of the late Vincent and Regina (Dobilas) Poplawski, Dupont, and the late John and Anne (Puchalsky) YonKondy, Swoyersville.
She is a 2009 graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice and a 2012 graduate of Keystone College with a bachelor’s degree in forensic biology and a minor in chemistry. She is currently employed as an ICP Analyst II at Microbac Laboratories, Pittston.
Drew is the grandson of Frances O’Boyle, of Exeter. He is a 2015 graduate of McCann School of Business and Technology, having received his commercial drivers license. He is currently employed as a driver for D.W. Richards Sons, Avoca.
The couple was married on Sept.13, 2024 followed by an elegant reception at Constantino’s, Clarks Summit.
In a ceremony that was officiated by the Rev. Randy Wheeland, the couple exchanged vows before family and close friends, in a celebration of love, tradition and new beginnings.
Jillian was escorted by both of her parents. She chose Janelle Srebro as maid of honor and Misty Kudrako, sister-in-law Alanna Senchak and Chrissy Polomski as bridesmaids. She chose niece of the groom, Noah McGrath as “bubble (flower) girl”
Drew chose James McGrath as best man and his brother Nathan Love, Robert Jones, and T.J. Mastrini as groomsmen. Edward Kudrako Jr. served as ringbearer.
A bridal shower was hosted by the bride’s mother and the bridesmaids at The Colonnade in Scranton.
The bride and groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at Colarusso’s in Clarks Summit.
The newlyweds reside in Dupont with their Shar pei, Xena, in the home of Jillian’s beloved late grandmother, Regina, per her wishes.
