In the world of luxury fashion, Hermès stands as a beacon of timeless elegance and sophistication. With a heritage deeply rooted in exceptional craftsmanship, the brand’s jewelry, in particular the Hermes bracelets, have become symbols of status and style.

The Luxurious World of Hermes Bracelets

Hermès created many bracelets but the most iconic and collectible are these: the Enamel Bracelet, Chaine d’Ancre, Collier de Chien, Clic Clac, Kelly Double Tour, Behapi, and Rivale.

Hermès bracelets are crafted by combining techniques such as glass, quartz, clay and slate with metals like gold-plated palladium or rose gold plating to produce exquisite jewelry that merges craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology. In 1976, Hermès launched their enamel bangle using the patterns of their original scarf prints.

Due to their combination of traditional manufacturing and modern technologies, Hermès bracelets have become a staple in the luxury sector worldwide, offering one an unforgettable accessory for any occasion.

The Hermès Enamel Bracelet

Hermès enamel bracelets are crafted with intricate attention to detail using the enameling process, which involves melting powdered glass at extremely high temperatures onto a metal substrate. This enables two particular techniques. Champlevé and cloisonné are being applied in order to make the unique Hermès designs we know today. The minerals that constitute the colorful piece of art on each bracelet have been carefully ground down by traditional methods to guarantee only quality results when making these beautiful accessories from gold plated or palladium hardware components.

Enamel plays an important role not just for its visuals, but also because it allows greater design diversity across different styles and seasonal changes while staying true to what makes a signature Hermès bracelet so special, every single one is truly remarkable.

The Chaine d’Ancre Bracelet

The Chaîne d'Ancre bracelet derives its name from "Chaine" (meaning chain) and "Ancre" (meaning anchor). The story behind this renowned collectible bracelet dates back to Robert Dumas, a member of the Hermes family and CEO of Hermes from 1951-1978. Inspired by ships’ chains and anchors he observed during a stroll along the Normandy coast, Dumas designed the bracelet with an anchor-like clasp, giving it an elegant yet sporty appeal. While now available in gold, rose gold, and sterling silver, it was originally created in silver.

The Collier de Chien Bracelet In 1923, Hermès started producing dog collars as chic Parisian women began adorning their dogs and strolling the city streets. After noticing that fashion designers were repurposing the collars as belts, the company created the iconic Collier de Chien belt, characterized by its chunky hardware. This success paved the way for the highly sought-after line of Collier de Chien jewelry, which debuted in 1949. Over time, the line expanded to include gold bracelets and other special edition gems and details.

The Clic Clac Bracelet

The Clic Clac H bracelets are iconic Hermès models that transcend decades. Their apparent simplicity, featuring a clasp in the shape of the letter H flanked by colored enamel on gold or silver metal, contributes to their timeless appeal. The bracelets come in various widths and have been produced in over a hundred shades of enamel, making them highly collectible among fans of the Hermès House. Originally named Hermes H, the bracelet earned its nickname and official name, Clic Clac, due to the sound it made when opening and closing quickly. There are two styles of Clic Clac bracelets: the narrow-width Clic H and the wide-width Clic Clac H. Both styles are made of enamel and finished with gold-plated hardware, featuring the iconic "H" logo of Hermès on the clasp closure.

The Kelly Double Tour Bracelet

The Kelly Double Tour bracelet is a timeless leather accessory inspired by the iconic Hermès Kelly handbag, which originated in the 1930s. Just like its namesake bag, the Kelly Double Tour bracelet features the signature Touret lock, a distinctive closure that secures a leather band and wraps around the wrist twice for a chic look. Typically crafted from Swift calfskin leather with Zermatt leather lining, the Double Tour bracelet is also available in various exotic skins including crocodile, alligator, and lizard. Hardware options for the Kelly Double Tour include gold-plated, rose gold-plated, silver-plated, and palladium-plated finishes, adding a touch of luxury to this classic accessory.

The Behapi Bracelet

The Hermes Behapi bracelet, beloved by collectors, boasts a simple yet chic design that stands out effortlessly. Its understated elegance makes it perfect for everyday wear, complementing any outfit with ease. Featuring a silver-plated H-palladium buckle and a Hermès hallmark in both the leather and hardware, this bracelet exudes luxury in every detail. The name "Behapi" holds a charming detail: the “be” signifies that the leather strap showcases two different colors on each side, allowing for versatility as you can flip it to achieve two distinct looks with just one bracelet. As for "hapi," it's a clever nod to the initials of designer Pierre Hardy, the creative mind behind this timeless piece dating back to the early 2000s.

The Rivale Bracelet The Rivale leather bracelet is an understated cousin of the Collier de Chien design. It has two signature pyramids on either side of a center O ring. The Rivale comes in a single or double tour design and is typically made from Swift calfskin leather.
