Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge and views of city, Hostel Estação Maracanã is set in Rio de Janeiro, 700 metres from Maracanã Stadium. The staff is amazing and courteous. The private room was big and really quiet and clean. The shower was really nice. The location is good - around 15 minutes on foot from Maracanã metro station, and quite beside the stadium.

Gaia Hostel in Rio de Janeiro provides adults-only accommodation with a shared lounge, a bar and barbecue facilities. SILAS IS THE GOAT. He was very helpful and easy-going guy. Helped me to get tickets to fluminense game at maracana and tickets to jesus statue. Give that guy pay rise! Atmosphere was very relaxing and it felt like a home. Would recommend.

Possibly one of the best hostel I have stayed at during my travels. Bathrooms are great, including soap and shampoo in the showers. Beds are extremely comfortable and “capsule” style so you have great privacy and a lot of storage capacity. The rooftop has a gym which is better than most gyms. Breakfast is great too
