The staff is amazing and courteous. The private room was big and really quiet and clean. The shower was really nice. The location is good - around 15 minutes on foot from Maracanã metro station, and quite beside the stadium.

Located in Búzios, a 12-minute walk from Armação Beach, Bamboo Búzios Hostel has a number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi. I love the staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The boys Samuel and Lucas from the Huna restaurant made my stay even better. I had lunch there twice and I loved it. I'd also highlight the girls from breakfast service. Sayonara and the others were so kind, attentive and helpful.

This is easily the best hostel I’ve stayed in my life in terms of the facilities it is amazing ! There is less of a party vibe compared to the hostels in Ipanema but it’s not hard to find parties in Rio 😂

Very clean, staff always smiley and ready to solve all your issues. Shout out to supervisor Pedro Theme and the host Jeronimo! I definitely recommend and will be back!

I initially booked for just one night but ended up staying three weeks in this charming castle. Located in the heart of the city, this historical gem is adorned with beautiful art, and you can enjoy a stunning view of Christ the Redeemer right from your room. The large garden and relaxing pool are perfect for unwinding, and the rooftop offers breathtaking sunsets. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Every Sunday, there's a free BBQ, and the breakfast is simply amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options. The warm, social atmosphere made me feel right at home. I can't wait to return to Castelo Dos Tucanos. Special thanks to Bea for her excellent guest relations and to Solenn for always being so responsive. Thank you all—see you next time!

It’s a good place to rest, good staff the owner is kind and attentive, beds are cozy, kitchen is complete, super clean, wifi is ok, coffee in the morning is nice.

From the moment we arrived, we were immediately made to feel welcome by Flaviana, Lucas & Luciene. With Rio being our first destination in Brazil/South America, we were quite anxious when deciding where to stay and Chez Zany exceeded our expectations. It felt very safe and secure and the location was perfect. The volunteers have big hearts and really added value to our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and the added touches of organised activities and Saturday breakfasts are really great! Can’t thank them enough for making our stay really lovely. Muito Obrigada <3
