Frank DiGiacomo

Frank is Billboard’s executive editor, enterprise reporting. Since joining the brand in 2014, he has edited business news stories and profiles and investigative features. He regularly contributes to Billboard’s digital best-of lists, as well as business stories and Q&As with independent artists, such as Hamilton Leithauser, The Decemberists’ Colin Meloy, Porridge Radio’s Dana Margolin, English Teacher’s Lily Fontaine and Friko’s Niko Kapetan. He also oversees and edits the print magazine’s Market section and Billboard’s annual Power 100 list. In 2024, DiGiacomo was tasked with spearheading the launch of Billboard’s comedy vertical, which debuted that fall. Frank, who is based in New York, is an avid concertgoer and counts LCD Soundsystem and Car Seat Headrest among his favorite live acts. Before joining Billboard, he wrote about comedy, music and the entertainment business for Vanity Fair, The Hollywood Reporter, New York magazine and The New York Observer. He appeared in the 2005 documentary 'The Aristocrats,' about the filthiest and most offensive joke in comedy, and in 2024 co-authored an oral history of the 'New York Post, Paper of Wreckage: The Rogues, Renegades, Wiseguys, Wankers and Relentless Reporters Who Redefined American Media.'
