Hello, I’m a Gran and new to the chicken world! I have nine hens and a silkie rooster.
One of my hens, a six-month-old frizzle, has gone broody and is being bullied by the flock. I’ve tried putting her in broody jail, but it hasn’t worked—she’s still broody. She doesn’t lay anymore and goes straight back to the nest as soon as I let her out.
She’s losing feathers and weight, and I’m worried about her health. I love her so much and want to help her, but I don’t know what to do
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
