ELSIE — Ovid-Elsie advanced to tonight’s district final with a three-set win over Bath, 25-18, 25-19, 25-15, in district semifinal action Wednesday.
OWOSSO – Owosso won its first set against Lansing Christian Central, capitalizing on a 9-0 run midway through the stanza, but the Pilgrims won the final three to capture a 3-1, non-league match on Monday.
OVID-ELSIE — Durand defeated Perry in straight sets, 25-18, 25-8, 25-22, in a district quarterfinal action on Monday at Ovid-Elsie.
ELSIE — Laingsburg’s season ended on Monday in a district quarterfinal loss to Bath, 23-25, 23-25, 17-25 at Ovid-Elsie.
DURAND – Durand bested Chesaning in four sets Tuesday, 25-12, 25-13, 25-27, 25-13.
BYRON — The Byron volleyball team swept past Otisville-LakeVille, 3-0, on Thursday.
OWOSSO — Owosso edged Corunna in four sets in a Flint Metro League match Wednesday at Owosso, 26-24, 23-25, 25-23, 25-19.
NEW LOTHROP — New Lothrop swept Byron in straight sets on Tuesday, 25-23, 25-18, 25-21, in a Mid-Michigan Activities Conference contest at New Lothrop High School.
CORUNNA — Corunna lost to fellow Flint Metro League foe Goodrich in straight sets on Monday, 25-22, 25-10, 25-19. The Cavaliers dropped to 8-5 on the season with the loss.
