Navy rear admiral Doug Sasse recently received his second start at a ceremony held at the Pentagon near Washington, DC. Sasse, who lives in Westport, Mass., was raised in Corunna and is a Corunna High School graduate, after which he attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. He lives in Westport with wife Cheryl and their three children â Brendan, Allyson and Nicholas. He is the son of Doug and Kathy Sasse, formerly of Corunna, who now reside in Punta Gorda, Fla. Rear Admiral Sasse is currently serving as director, assessment division (OPNAV N81) for the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations at the Pentagon.
