Stumped? These are the 50 best Christmas gifts for women in 2024

Generally, I feel like I'm a pretty good gift giver. But as Christmas creeps closer and I keep ticking people off my Nice list, I always have one person that's seemingly impossible to shop for: my mother-in-law.

Quick Overview

She wants nothing, but if I get her nothing, I'll ruin Christmas, because even though she's difficult to shop for, she's my husband's mother, and I have to get her something.

Sound familiar? Women can be notoriously difficult to shop for. Sometimes we're too scared to guess what kind of patterns or colors they may like, while other's we're just not sure what they've already got in their home. Will they like vanilla? Or do they prefer rose? Does she really need another robe? If I buy her a new robe, will she think I'm saying I think her current robe is ugly?

It's time to relax. We've monitored this year's hottest trends and catalogued the 50 best gifts for her that we think will win her over this year. Here's what our AOL editors recommend for the lady in your life this Christmas.

I'm a huge fan of Brightland olive oil, especially if you're shopping for a home chef. It's a great gift for someone who doesn't really want anything — it'll add to their pantry, but they'll use it all up within the next few months. This set comes with four bottles of the brand's bestselling olive oil, which is so good, my mother told me I ruined all other olive oil for her after I got it as a gift.

$85 at Brightland

Oprah named these gloves as one of her favorite things for 2024, and we agree. They're inexpensive, but look like they came straight from a designer store. You can shop five shades, each of which have touchscreen capabilities, so she can still operate her phone without needing to remove her gloves.

$39 at Amazon

The Renpho Eyeris Eye Massager is a great gift for the women you often give a headache to. It allows her to massage away any irritants with heat and pressure, which automatically begin once puts this one. It's an Amazon-reviewer favorite, earning a near-perfect 4.4-star rating.

$70 at Amazon

A silk pillowcase is an easy, affordable slam dunk of a gift for the woman on your list. Silk can help keep her hair from sticking or laying in weird places while she sleeps; plus, it can help keep her skin smooth and hydrated (because it's less absorbent than cotton).

$24 at Amazon

Google named the Elisa Pendant as one of the most popular gifts of the year, noting that searches for the term spiked 175% in 2024. It comes in dozens of colors so you can match the stone to your giftee's tastes.

If she's got a sweet tooth, she'll enjoy this indulgent box of Godiva chocolate. I tried it out this season and it's next-level delicious. Each piece is meticulously crafted and somehow packed with three or four different flavors. She'll be overjoyed to unwrap this one Christmas morning.

Kate Spade is one of the best places to shop for her, and if you want high-quality Kate Spade wallets and purses for less, it's time bookmark Kate Spade Outlet. If you're not sure which color she'd like best, go with black: it matches everything, especially if she wants to pair it with different outfits.

I got my mother (64) this Adanola sweatshirt this fall and she has not taken it off since. She tells me every time I see her how much she loves this piece—how it's so warm, comfy, and easy to slip on. If you need an easy win, this sweatshirt makes an incredible gift, especially as the temps keep dropping.

$98 at Adanola

I got an Aura Digital Picture Frame for my birthday this year and it has a permanent spot on my desk. It's the best gift I've received in years, especially because I just had a baby and I'm constantly taking pictures of her. It's easy to upload photos and rotates without me prompting it to. It's an incredible gift for parents and grandparents this year.

2025 is right around the corner, and if you want to help her start the year off on the right foot, we recommend getting her a planner—and my favorite is this one from Rifle Paper Co. My mom and mother-in-law ended up subscribing too, so if the woman in your life loves her nightly wine, this one is a slam dunk.
