As the name states “ A Moment in Time”. Is a Great interactive trail with explanations of the life and history of a forest. The examples of old growth trees current and past told the story. Not a trail for a workout, but more an understanding of the nature around you.

Great way to see the lake. Portions of the trail walk alongside it. Also great way to learn the history and see the uniqueness of this forest. Quick and easy. There IS a parking lot right by the trailhead that is not shown yet on here. If you’re already in the area or just looking for a quick way to see the lake and some of the forest, this is a great way to do it.
