We trust Starbucks not just for that morning cup of coffee (or a sweet caffeinated drink throughout the day) but also for its pre-made breakfast goods (from muffins to egg sandwiches and everything in between) that get us up and on our way.

However, Starbucks isn’t cheap, especially if you regularly eat there. That’s why we’re happy that Trader Joe’s is now offering us the same egg bites we love from Starbucks, but for a lot cheaper and that we can enjoy while we’re still in our pajamas.

Trader Joe's Copycat Starbucks Egg Bites

According to the Instagram post from @TraderJoesTalia, Trader Joe's now sells Unexpected Cheddar & Turkey Sausage Egg White Bites. The video shows the latest find made with Cheddar cheese, cage-free egg whites, and turkey sausage. Trader Joe's website says cottage cheese is in the mix that "rounds off each Bite with satisfying creaminess."

These egg bites are fully cooked, so this breakfast meal can come together in a snap and won't cost you too much money. What makes them even better is how easy they are for on-the-go eating thanks to their portable design and being packed with protein, so you won't grow hungry in an hour.

While these egg bites are enjoyable as-is, the company's website says you can also have some fun playing around with various "enhancements" such as a "dollop of sour cream for a tangy boost… or shake a few dashes of Habanero Hot Sauce for a fiery kick."

Trader Joe's has previously featured other egg bites, including Cheese Egg Bites, Spinach & Kale Egg White Bites, and Cheese & Uncured Bacon Egg Bites. The latest flavor to join the popular line-up is the Unexpected Cheddar and Turkey Sausage Egg White Bites.

Trader Joe's fans expressed their excitement for the new product on the Instagram post, saying, "Def need those new egg bites."

No matter which flavor you choose, you can expect to receive two bites in each pack, which will only cost you $3.49, as opposed to Starbucks' egg bites, which can set you back around $5.50 plus tax. You also won't have to wait long to enjoy the Trader Joe's version since they only take about a minute or so to heat up in the microwave, making them the perfect weekday breakfast routine option. We'll save making them on our own for the weekends.
