Especially during the busy holiday season when it feels like you’re being pulled in 50 different directions. Between planning your holiday menus, decorating your tree, wrapping presents, and baking Christmas cookies, it’s a wonder that we even find time to seek out new holiday foods at the grocery store. Talk about a miracle on 34th Street. However, when the seasonal launches are this good, we’re going to find time. The holiday candy launches alone are enough reason to head to your nearest store. Between the sugar cookie-filled Reese’s cups, Kit Kat’s first-ever holiday shape, and M&M’s new toasty peanut flavor, our stockings—and bellies—are going to be extra stuffed this year. And, while we appreciate a new offering, we know better than to ignore our returning favorites. Things like Reese’s Trees, red and green M&M’s, and Sour Patch Kids ornaments get brought back every year for a reason: they’re fan favorites. This year, Mars Wrigley is bringing back quite a few beloved holiday candies—like M&M’s Holiday Mint and Skittles Canes. However, there’s one returning favorite that’s getting a new and improved makeover. Snickers Brings Back Snickers Trees with New Formula Snickers Trees are returning for yet another holiday season, but with a new formulation. The candy brand is taking a page out of the Reese’s shapes book and giving the people what they want: less chocolate and more crunchy, gooey filling. Snickers/Getty Images Similar to the peanut butter-packed Reese’s shapes, Snickers Trees will now feature “more of the good stuff,” meaning the caramel, nougat, and roasted peanut butter filling encased in Christmas tree-shaped milk chocolate. The newly reformulated Snickers Trees will be sold in both a 1.1-ounce Single Size and 2.2-ounce Share Size, making them perfect for stuffing stockings, filling candy dishes, and maybe even leaving out for Santa on Christmas Eve. Snickers Trees, as well as Mars Wrigley’s other new candy, M&M’s Toasty Holiday Peanut and Dove Dark Chocolate Holiday Mint, and its returning holiday favorites are hitting retailer shelves nationwide now. Mars says Snickers Trees are only just the beginning for the sweet, crunchy, peanut-packed candy bar. More Snickers holiday shapes are coming, so, you better watch out! Was this page helpful?
