You might think that an Olympian's diet is all proteins, grains, and vegetables—whole foods that will give them energy and keep them full. And, for many competitors who go for the gold in the Olympics, those foods are a big part of their diets.

But when you consider the intense workouts, the number of calories burned in a day of training or competing, and that anyone who works that hard deserves a treat now and then, it makes sense that some of the world's best athletes, including Simone Biles, treat themselves from time to time.

Biles wrapped up her 2024 Paris Olympic competitions with three gold medals and one silver medal and shared what she often eats in a day with Women's Health. Many of the foods she eats regularly are expected—oatmeal, fruit, protein shakes, eggs, and salmon.

But the gymnast also enjoys pretzels with Nutella, pizza, and the occasional margarita. We know that the gold medalist indulges in fast food occasionally, and we love her all the more for it.

When it comes to dessert, Biles' go-to is ice cream or cookies, and when she makes cookies at home, she makes a version of one of our faves.

Simone Biles' Favorite Homemade Cookies

She makes a variation on s'mores cookies using just four ingredients: chocolate chip cookie dough, graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows. We assume the cookie dough is store-bought like Pillsbury's, so not only does this dessert sound out of this world, but it's also super quick to put together. And it's easy to bake just one or two at a time.

"I put a graham cracker at the bottom, marshmallows and chocolate on the top, and then I wrap it in cookie dough and bake it," says Biles. "That's my favorite cookie to bake."

We can almost smell and taste the freshly baked stuffed cookie with gooey chocolate and marshmallows escaping from the center—heaven! Break out the milk to wash it down. We think we need to snack like a gold medal winner tonight!
