Original recipe (1X) yields 12 servings 2 quarts water 1 ham hock 1 (10 ounce) linguiça sausage, sliced 1 onion, minced 4 potatoes, peeled and cubed 2 ribs celery, chopped 2 carrots, chopped 1 (15 ounce) can stewed tomatoes 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce 1 clove garlic, minced 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans ½ head cabbage, thinly sliced Directions Place water, ham hock, linguiça, and onion in a Dutch oven over high heat; bring to a boil.
