Franks and beans are a big favorite with my husband. They are very easy to make, and the kids love them, too.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings

  • 2 teaspoons butter

  • 3 tablespoons chopped onion

  • 1 (16 ounce) can baked beans with pork

  • 1 (16 ounce) package frankfurters, sliced

  • cup brown sugar

  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard

  • 1 teaspoon celery salt

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions in hot butter until tender.

  3. Stir in beans with pork and frankfurters. Mix in brown sugar, mustard, and celery salt until well combined. Transfer to a 2-quart casserole dish.
