Submitted by pukka brio Published on March 28, 2020 Save Rate Print Share Close Add Photo Prep Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins Total Time: 45 mins Servings: 4 Yield: 4 servings Jump to Nutrition Facts Cook Mode (Keep screen awake) Ingredients ½ pound ground beef salt and ground black pepper to taste ½ small onion, minced 1 clove garlic, minced, or more to taste 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce 1 (14 ounce) can low-sodium beef broth 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1 small head cabbage, sliced 2 cups cooked rice ¼ cup sour cream, or to taste Directions Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season beef with salt and pepper; cook and stir in the hot skillet until browned, about 5 minutes. Add onion and garlic; cook until onion is translucent, 2 to 3 minutes. Add tomato sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well mixed. Add cabbage to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
