Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings 1 pound Italian sausage 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce or meatless spaghetti sauce 8 lasagna noodles ½ cup ricotta cheese 2 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese, or more to taste 2 ounces grated Parmesan cheese, or more to taste salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste (Optional) ¼ teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste (Optional) Directions Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
