Original recipe (1X) yields 2 servings 4 ounces dry fettuccine pasta 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 1 onion, finely chopped 1 rib celery, chopped 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped 2 chile peppers, seeded and diced ¾ pound large uncooked shrimp 4 large tomatoes, chopped into small pieces 1 bunch fresh parsley, chopped 1 lemon, juiced ½ teaspoon white sugar sea salt and freshly ground pepper Directions Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Cook fettuccine at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Meanwhile, heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, celery, and garlic and cook until soft, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in chile peppers and cook for 5 minutes. Add shrimp and cook until opaque, about 3 minutes.
