Submitted by Susannah Updated on July 14, 2022 Save Rate Print Share Close Add Photo 10 10 10 10 Prep Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs 30 mins Total Time: 3 hrs 50 mins Servings: 6 Yield: 6 servings Jump to Nutrition Facts Cook Mode (Keep screen awake) Ingredients 2 tablespoons butter 2 large onions, diced 2 pounds flank steak ⅛ teaspoon caraway seed ¼ teaspoon dried marjoram 1 clove garlic, minced 5 tablespoons paprika 2 cups water 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed salt and pepper to taste Directions Melt butter in a large soup pot over medium high heat. Saute onions until soft, then add beef and brown. Stir in caraway seed, marjoram, garlic and paprika. Pour water over all, lower heat to low and simmer for 2 1/2 hours.
