  • 4 cups whole wheat flour

  • 4 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice

  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves

  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1 cup butter

  • 1 cup white sugar

  1. Preheat pizzelle baker according to manufacturer's instructions.

  2. Mix whole wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cloves, and black pepper together in a large bowl.
