Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 24 servings

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup butter, softened

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Gather the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

  2. Sift flour and brown sugar into a bowl; stir in eggs. Mix butter into flour mixture until dough is creamy; fold in chocolate chips.

  3. Spoon dough onto a baking sheet, keeping them about 3 inches apart. Bake in the preheated oven until slightly brown, 10 to 15 minutes. Cool.

Cook’s Note

You can use white sugar in place of brown sugar, but I prefer brown sugar.
