Something went wrong. Our team is working on it. Original recipe (1X) yields 10 servings 12 green apples - peeled, cored, and cut into chunks 1 (12 ounce) package frozen raspberries ¾ cup water ⅓ cup brown sugar, or more to taste 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg, or more to taste (Optional) Directions Combine apples, raspberries, water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a slow cooker crock. Cook on Low until apples can easily be mashed, about 6 hours. Cook's Notes: I personally do not really like nutmeg so usually leave it out, but nutmeg lovers should go for it. In the past, I have omitted sugar for stevia. I add it after cooking time to taste, and it works well.
