My family loves this recipe on hot summer days. My friends also request these when we have our annual Fourth of July parties, and sometimes during Halloween parties. This is how we like them, but play around with it and make it your own! I hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 1 servings

  • 1 ½ cups peeled and diced apple

  • ½ cup apple juice, or more if needed

  • ½ cup vanilla ice cream

  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened

  • 1 tablespoon white sugar

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

  1. Blend apple, apple juice, ice cream, butter, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a blender until smooth.

Cook's Note:

Substitute apple pie-flavored ice cream for vanilla for an extra-special treat.
