Original recipe (1X) yields 48 servings 2 (8 ounce) cans whole water chestnuts, drained 1 ¼ cups soy sauce 1 teaspoon garlic powder 24 strips thick-sliced bacon, cut in half 1 (15 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained toothpicks 1 cup brown sugar Directions Combine water chestnuts, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a small bowl; toss to coat. Marinate for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Drain water chestnuts; discard soy sauce.
