There are some new players emerging on the soda scene, and they’re gaining even more attention than the brands you’ve known for years. Olipop offers “a new kind of soda” experience, crafted with less sugar and added fiber, and has quickly become one of the most beloved functional soda brands in the space. So, when a sparkly new flavor slid onto shelves last week, fans were racing to try it out. And, although it’s brand new to the market, it’s full of nostalgic flavor. Olipop x Barbie's New Limited-Edition Flavor Olipop just launched a fun new flavor that’s giving us Barbie fever all over again. The Barbie: Peaches & Cream flavor is here to make summer even sweeter, but it’s only here for a limited time. If you’re wondering, where was this last year? during the summer of Barbie movie mania, there’s a good answer. The sunny new flavor is here to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the cult-favorite Peaches & Cream Barbie doll, paying a “sippable homage” to the '80s icon. “Our soda captures her timeless, vibrant, and sweet but not too sweet spirit, with an unforgettable fusion of real peach juice, deep, full-bodied vanilla, and white peach gummy flavor,” the packaging reads. The adorable, '80s-inspired can features all the signature nods to Peaches & Cream Barbie, too, decorated in sparkles, hearts, lipstick, and high-heel pop art. It’s strutting into the soda world with Elle Woods energy—and we love to see it. OLIPOP Most fans who’ve spotted the new functional soda on social media are waiting (not so patiently) for the peach drink’s arrival, saying, “shut the front door!!” and “NOT A WANT BUT A NEED.” And, fans who have tried it confirm it lives up to the hype, calling it their “new fav” and are begging the brand to keep it around in the permanent flavor roster. “It. Is. Delicious!” said one fan. We got to have a first taste of the new soda and definitely dub it the best flavor yet. It has a sweet start but a rounder finish, and the vanilla peach flavor comes through in every sip. It has the retro soda feel of other Olipop varieties like Classic Root Beer, Cream Soda, and Vintage Cola—fizzy, refreshing, and nostalgic. “Their cream flavor is the best so I know this will taste good,” one fan said. And to answer one commenter's question: “Does it turn you into a Barbie girl after drinking it?” Yes, it certainly does. The fruity new flavor will officially roll out on May 1, but some fans have already spotted them at stores like Sprouts, Safeway, and Target. However, it will be available at other major retailers like Walmart, Amazon, and Whole Foods by the beginning of next month, priced at $2.49 per can or $35.99 for a 12-pack. So, if you need us, we’ll be gearing up for Barbie Summer 2.0 with Peaches & Cream soda in hand. Come on Barbie, let’s go OLI. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why!
