For me, that's a good ol' box of mac and cheese, anted up with some rotisserie chicken and frozen broccoli or, better yet, extra cheesy in the style of Blake Lively. If you also turn to a box of mac, specifically that beloved blue box, then I've got good news for you. Kraft is finally bringing back a "cult favorite" product it quietly discontinued a few years ago. Kraft/Allrecipes Kraft SpongeBob SquarePants Mac & Cheese Is Back Everybody has their favorite noodle shape, especially when it comes to mac and cheese. Many, many people claim that shapes just taste better than the standard tube noodles (although some speculate it's because of the higher cheese sauce-to-noodle ratio). And this particular shape has somewhat of a cult following. It may sound silly, but Spongebob Squarepants has some serious fans, even in his pasta form. With pasta shaped like SpongeBob SquarePants, Squidward, Patrick, and Gary and that same signature orange cheese, it captured customers' hearts (and stomachs). The product developed a devoted following in its tenure on grocery store shelves. So devoted that, according to the brand, "thousands of fans took to social media, emailed [the] CEO, and even started a Change.org petition," to bring the product back. When Kraft did bring the product back for a limited time in 2020, fans were delighted, writing "This actually made my day more exciting thank you," and "I think I've finally found what I want for Christmas." Kraft The mac and cheese will return to shelves nationwide starting in October, presumably wherever Kraft Mac & Cheese is sold. It will come in the classic blue box and Easy Mac cup packs of four. From the looks of it, it's a permanent addition to the lineup, so Spongebob fans can rejoice. That's another win for fans everywhere. Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why!
